Vehicle plows into crowd near SoFi stadium, injures at least 10 pedestrians

At least 10 pedestrians were injured after a vehicle plowed into a crowd near SoFi Stadium and the Intuit Dome in Inglewood on Saturday night.

Sky5 was overhead during the aftermath near Century Boulevard west of Prairie Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. KTLA’s Rich Prickett reported that several victims needed immediate transportation.

In addition, Prickett reported that witnesses say one of the individuals injured may have been a 14-year-old boy.

The crash, which officials declared a mass casualty incident, took place just as fans were leaving the CONCACAF Gold Cup match between Mexico and the Dominican Republic at SoFi.

Officials on the scene with the Los Angeles County Fire Department could not immediately confirm the details of the crash or provide information on the suspect vehicle.

Footage from Sky5 and Citizen.com showed a large paramedic and law enforcement response at the scene, with multiple firetrucks blocking off traffic as investigators responded to the area.
