*Rapper Tevin Hood, known professionally as T-Hood, was shot and killed on August 8 at his residence on Lee Road in unincorporated Snellville, Georgia. He was 33 years old.
According to SandraRose.com, authorities in Gwinnett County confirmed that Ky Frost, the eldest son of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” stars Kirk and Rasheeda Frost, has been identified as the shooter. Police are currently investigating the incident as a potential act of self-defense.
According to the incident report, the home where the shooting took place is owned by Kirk and Rasheeda. A domestic altercation reportedly occurred involving T-Hood and Ky’s half-sister, Kelsie Frost, resulting in Kelsie sustaining “physical injuries.”
Investigators say Ky arrived at the home after the altercation had ended. He allegedly fired at T-Hood in self-defense. Following the shooting, Ky remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Officials stated, “There is no evidence to suggest the involvement of additional parties beyond those residing in the home.”
Police also emphasized that Ky is not evading authorities, and both he and witnesses have been working with investigators.

In the days following the incident, members of T-Hood’s family accused Kelsie of orchestrating events that led to his death. Kelsie, 30, strongly rejected those claims in a now-deleted Instagram post. She noted that T-Hood had previously survived multiple gunshot wounds and was in recovery at the time of the fatal shooting.
“The love of my life is GONE. the man I lay with and cuddle every single night…is no longer here,” she wrote. “So as I want to ask for respect and privacy I won’t because I will always defend my baby. I don’t condone this sht in anyway shape form or fashion. I am sick to my stomach. I don’t wish this on any one.”
