Sauce Walka has sparked reactions after recording a video for social media just days after a fatal shooting that left him injured and a fellow rapper, Sayso P, reportedly deceased.

More Details On Sauce Walka Recording A Video For Social Media Days After Fatal Shooting
On Monday, March 24, a user on X, formerly known as Twitter, @trapsntrunks, took to the platform to apparently repost footage of Walka alongside another man. In the clip, Walka told viewers, “… this s**t don’t stop. You gotta keep dripping… [Rest in peace] my brother Sayso P. R.I.P. my brother — my n***a wanted me to make sure I got some food from P.K. before I leave [Memphis]…”
As the clip continued, Walka promoted the chef and his restaurants located in midtown and downtown of the city.
“Rest in peace [to] my brother Sayso – everywhere you told me to come, I gotta go there and I love you… Long live Sayso,” he continued.
Before the footage concluded, Walka added that he would be touching back in Memphis despite the fatal shooting.

To note, in footage apparently recorded moments before Walka’s drop, he pointed out that the shooting isn’t a “new” occurrence in his life. Furthermore, he noted that his father’s house was previously shot over 40 times on one occasion.
More Details On The Shooting Involving Sauce Walka And, Reportedly, Sayso P
As The Shade Room previously reported, on Saturday, March 22, Sauce Walka was left injured after a shooting reportedly broke out in broad daylight. At the time, it was reported that the shooting occurred outside of a hotel near the FedexForum. Furthermore, Walka was reportedly shot in the leg. Additionally, another victim, who was not publicly identified at the time, was left dead.
At the time, it was reported that the shooters fled the scene in a four-door white vehicle. Since then, the second victim has been identified as Walka’s artist, Sayso P, per the New York Post. At this time, authorities are still reportedly searching for the assailants.
